Objectives:  Students will talk about clothing and shopping in the target

language.

 

 

 

1.  BOPA:  Students will translate sentences from English to Spanish from the

overhead.  Volunteers will write the sentences on the board and we will go

over them as a class.

 

2.  Introduction to new vocabulary, pages 190-191.  Using the overhead from

the book, I will say words in Spanish and the students will repeat them.  I

will ask basic comprehension questions using the new vocabulary words.

 

3.  Students will individually build a concept map to show the seasons and

appropriate clothing to wear during each season.

 

4.  Students will choose one season and draw their favorite outfit from that

season.  They will label their outfit, tell where and when they bought it, how

much they paid for it, and what color each item is.
