Objectives:  The students will write and talk about clothing and colors.

The students will identify vocabulary words from chapter 6.

 

1.  BOPA:  Textbook page 524 #2 (top).  Students will write answers in their

notebooks.  We will go over answers as a class.  While students are working, I

will check homework.

 

2.  We will go over the homework as a class.

 

3.  Students will write a description of the clothing they are wearing,

including names of the articles of clothing and colors.

 

4.  I will collect the descriptions and redistribute them to the class.

 

5.  Each person will read the description they have just received and the class will say who wrote the description.

 

6.  Tic-tac-toe.  In pairs, students will create tic-tac-toe boards and write vocabulary words in the box of their choice as I give them.  If the word is correct and there are no spelling errors, the student may place an X or O in that box.

2.  Estudiar!  Vocabulary quiz tomorrow! (vocabulary

from chapter 6, pages 184-185 and 190-191)
