Empezar el Capítulo 6

1. All classes except period 3: Watch video of production "Papi, me and César Chavez" - approx. 45 minutes - pick up a copy of this video from Denise Hansen in the front office. Ellen Danforth from the media center is having Micki Thompson (media center) give a copy of the video to
Denise. It will be unmarked. Please leave it on my office desk at the end of the day so that I can have it labeled.

Period 3 (saw the live presentation of the play on Wednesday) so they will not be watching the video. Instead, they should hand in essays on Quinceañera and read and answer questions in AHORA magazines.

AHORA MAGAZINES should be on the table in the classrom - along with worksheets and keys

In the remaining 10-15 minutes of class do as much of the following as possible. Whatever is not finished in class is homework.

2. TEXTBOOK: read objetivos - página 191(texto): At then end of ths chapter, you will be able to:

• name and describe members of an extended family
• describe special family occasions, holidays and other celbrations
• greet people in several different ways
• discuss how one culue can influence another
