Period 5 & 7

I will be out of the building from 12:00 on today.  Please have my students do the following:

 

Period 5 – Spanish III – Tell them that they will do the plan that the other 3’s did yesterday on Monday or Tuesday.  Today:

Review Body part names with class

Play Body Bingo with the class – using the cards and materials on my desk.

 

1.   Play several rounds just saying the names of the parts.

2.   Play several more rounds saying, “Me duele _________.”  - My _______ hurts.

3.   Play a few final rounds asking, “ΏTe duele __________?”  The students answer, “ Sν, me duele ________. As they mark their cards.”

 

This will take about ½ hour.  During the last hour of class, from about 12:30 on, show the History Channel video – The Conquerors – Cortes.  VCR is in cabinet behind teacher desk in classroom.  Put TV on video 2.  the remote is in the cabinet.

 

Period 7 – Spanish II – do the same lesson plan, except that they may need a bit more work on the body parts before playing Bingo.  – ½ hour for BINGO

Then final hour they should also watch the Cortés video.
