You and a friend are going
to visit a family friend in a Latin American Country. Before you pack your
bags, you need to learn as much as you can about the country in order to prepare
for your trip and impress your friend's family.
To prepare for your
adventure, use the five themes of geography to research your friend's country.
You will find these five themes fully detailed in the worksheet to be downloaded
below. The five themes are:
Location
Place
Relationships within Places
Movement
Regions
Then use your information to create a multimedia (PowerPoint) presentation.
The Process
To accomplish the task, you
will follow the procedures below.

Use the
resources in this section to collect data for your project. Be sure to check
your media center collection for resources. They will be on reserve for the
Sra. Pomerleau’s class. You may not need to use all of the resources listed,
but be sure you have adequately answered the questions on the worksheet. Remember to write down the bibliographic information for the
resources you use.
