Fall Checklist

August through mid-October

• Analyze most current data via Data Miner to identify students needing reading support.
• Verify reading class placements using CBLA Cohort list and ILP recommended list found in the literacy folder of SILK reports (may need counselor access).
• Report necessary schedule changes to counselors as soon as possible.
• Administer any additional assessments (SRI or MAPs) if further information is needed
• Reference Group 3
• Develop ILPs when required using Electronic Longitudinal Tracker Form (Sample Tracker Form).
• Communicate with parents (may be delegated).
• Alert staff of struggling readers and encourage feedback.

Before October 22

• Input all SRI scores via SILK

November 15

• Students newly arriving after this date need not be served with a formal ILP process for this school year. To ensure differentiated instruction, please administer assessments as deemed appropriate (SRI or MAPs)
• Identify ILPs for CSAP
• Comunicate with testing coordinator regarding CSAP accomodations and reporting form for ILP students.

End of Fall semester

• Administer SRI to Groups 1 and Group 2
• Re-evaluate placement of students into or out of reading classes.
• Students who are moved into reading support classes at the new semester will pick up with the curriculum with rest of class.
• Communicate class changes with parents
