Hello, My name is Chris Suppes. I am currently a math
teacher and the Head Cross Country coach as well as assistant
Track coach at Fort Collins High School. I would like to take this
opportunity to tell you a few things about myself so that you can get
to know me a better.

Career:
Believe it or not, I went to Timnath Elementary, Boltz Junior High
and I am a 1986 graduate from Fort Collins High School. I graduated
from Colorado State University in 1991 where I majored in Mathematics.
I started
my teaching
career
at Thompson
Valley High
School
in Loveland, Colorado.
During
my eight
years of
service
at Thompson
Valley
I was
a math teacher, Cross Country coach, track coach, and girl's
basketball coach. I became a member of the Lambkin faculty in 2000.

I was also a wild land firefighter for
the Forest
Service.
I began fighting fires for the Pike
Hotshots from
1987-1991. From 1993-1998 I was a Smoke jumper and I was stationed
at the McCall
Jump Base in McCall
Idaho.
During
this time I met many wonderful people including my wife, Tamara.
Interests:
I am very interested in running and coaching. This year (2005) we won
the Colorado State 5A Title in Boy's Cross Country. I give all the
credit to a very dedicated team and wonderful coaching staff.

State Champions!!!
I am also very interested in hunting and
fishing. I usually go back to Kansas every year to see my relatives
and hunt for pheasant. I also like to go to Idaho every winter and
go fishing with my father-in-law, Kevin Grove, (the greatest fisherman
ever known.)

Mr Fish
During our fishing adventures we have
caught steelhead and lake trout in Idaho, and salmon and halibut in
Alaska.

Family at Emerald Bay
My family:
I have been happily married now to my wonderful,
outstanding, totally gorgeous, one-in-a-million, wife Tamara since
1994.
We have two great
daughters named Allie and Cassie. Allie likes to sing, dance,
and act. Cassie is very interested in animals. She seems to know
more than I do about a lot of them.
The girls have already experienced many fun filled vacations
to California, Arizona, and of course, Idaho. They are avid skiers
and can already ski black runs.
My wife, Tamara, is the owner of Yours
Truly Gift Baskets in Fort Collins. She is originally from McCall,
Idaho. She also graduated from Colorado State University where she
majored in Art Education. She loves to ski and read books for her book
club.
