WHAT'S UP?
We are finally finished with CSAP! While working on our tests, we have been completing a research paper on the Renaissance ERA, finishing up our Math PBL project of a park design, reading and performing Rip Van Winkle, discovering new books to read, studying about ancient Mexico, and learning about the circulatory system. We will be looking at narrative poems in writing and researching WWII for a written report. In Reading, we will be starting Literature Circles on WWII stories. We will move into a study of modern day Mexico and our next Science unit is on Models and Designs. We are putting a lot of energy into our Renaissance Festival and learning much about the times and the people. The kids are VERY excited. Please mark your calendars for Friday, May 2nd. The remaining 2 months will fly by. We have a field trip to the Loveland Sculpture Park on May 5th, upcoming visits to the Jr. Highs, and of course, Graduation. Please watch for times and dates coming home. I will try to keep the website updated, and don't hesitate to call me for clarification. Buckle your seat belt! It's going top be fun!
