AP Test Practice: Argument Writing

Meet in classroom

 

   ·         EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY DUE AT THE END OF THE DAY: Review Kendall’s definitions of “consensus framing,” “admiration framing,” “emulation framing,” and “price-tag framing,” etc.  Then watch one of the television shows she mentions in para. 8 (p. 337) OR a similar show/news program and look for evidence of these framing devices. Write an ANALYSIS of the program through the lens of one of the "frames" presented. Be sure to offer specific examples as I have not seen the program you watched. Check non-negotiables.
