Directions for establishing an account on NoodleTools.com

1. First, go to the web page: www.noodletools.com.

2. Find “Current Users: Sign In” at the top of the webpage

3. Click on “Create a Personal ID”

4. The login page will appear

5. Choose: “An account linked to school/library subscription” and hit “Register”

6. This will bring you to the “New User Registration” page

The user ID is: fchs

The password is: student

7. Choose “I am a student” and create a personal ID/password

To create an MLA Works Cited/Annotated Bibliography page

1. Once you are logged into NoodleTools.com, you will see a “My Lists” page.

2. Click on “Start a new list” in the right hand corner of the webpage

3. You MUST choose MLA ADVANCED to create your Works Cited/Annotated Bibliography; anything else is not acceptable.

4. Create a name/description for your assignment (e.g. Current Events, Language Essay, etc.)

5. Follow the steps for choosing a citation – you will need to provide ample amount of information to complete the citation.

6. If you are completing the Annotation section of the entry, see your assignment's requirements; if not, you can skip this area

7. When your entire list is completed, choose “Save as Word doc” – this will allow you to cut-and-paste the Works Cited into your existing essay. Do NOT simply print from the NoodleTools site – you won’t have correct formatting NOR will you have the upper-right-hand header.

8. Ask questions!
