Project Based Learning
Our kindergarten projects are of high interest and relevancy to the children. Our first project is Here We Grow. It is a year long study of what the children need to grow and be healthy. Our first activity: a permanent mural in the hall with pictures of each kindergartner and his or her height. They visit it all year to see how they are growing.
We study about our bodies, including bones, heart and lungs, healthy foods and physical fitness. We had a Healthy Party and ran around a lot.
