The driving question for our second project was "What wild animals are native to Fort Collins and what do they need to survive in our town?"
A Wildlife Biologist, who is a parent of one of our students, taught us about local animals. Teachers and book buddies helped us research more about the animals and we presented our information to our classmates.
As teachers we already noticed better willingness to turn to each other, not the adults for decisions and support. Most groups made colorful posters.
