One of the most memorable projects we do in kindergarten is hatch chicks. Twenty one days is a long wait but the excitement on hatching day is well worth the wait. After about one week a vet helps us candle the eggs. We get to seethe chick grow inside the egg!
We write letters to the chicks while we are waiting for them to hatch.
