He was “jubilated and glad it was over”

 When the supplies were sent to Europe, the aircrafts came back with wounded soldiers- some were pretty morbid

 

What was the most cherished memory of the war for you?

 

 The end of the war in Europe, and then in Japan

He’s proud of the country, and thankful to be living in it

 He feels it’s necessary, but wishes it was going better
