Do you have a war story you would like to tell?

 

 While stationed in Thailand, I came across a 23 foot long snake.  We closed the radar site and packed her up in a sack.  Some men didn’t know that there was a snake in the sack, so when they opened it up, they got a surprise.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What was your reaction when you found out the war was over?

 

 

 Happy, excited

 

 

 

What was the most frightening event of the war for you?

 

 

 

 When I was trying to help helicopters rescue people.

 

 

 

What was the most cherished memory of the war for you?

 

 

 Coming back in one piece to my family.

 

 

 

 

 

Do you have regrets about your service in World War II?

 

 No.

 

 

 

 

How do you feel about America today?

 

 

 I don’t think that we should be in war.

 

 

 

How do you feel about the war with Iraq?
