Computer Applications II #1752 - Understanding Computers

Computer Applications II #1752, Understanding Computers is a semester course that provides students an introductory overview to the foundations of computer science. Students will learn about the history and trends of computing, ethics related to computer technology, and the operation of computer hardware, software and networks.
Students will also develop and create computer programs using one or more computer languages. Many of the computer programming activities reflect the state and national standards for mathematics. A major goal of this course is to provide students learning experiences related to the underlying concepts of computer science that will promote fluency in information technology.
