· Students who struggle or fail to thrive in a large high school environment often succeed when academic, social and emotional supports are provided in a small nurturing environment that holds to firm boundaries.

· Mind Center Mission To support and encourage students to earn a "C" or better in all classes by: attending all classes every day; paying attention and taking notes; participating in and contributing to class activities; turning in all homework on time; and studying for all tests and quizzes. To support students with in school and out-of-school issues that impact their ability to earn their high school diploma.

· To encourage high standards for attitude and effort. Students agree to: 1) Acknowledge that everyone needs support throughout their lives; 2) Work to resolve issues that prevent their success in school; 3) Be polite and respectful; and 4) Show care and concern for others
