The Niche Program is a safety net for teens who would benefit from participation in a small, nurturing school-based environment. Niche classes teach the skills necessary to be successful in school, the business world and at home.

· Most classroom activities come from Reclaiming Youth At Risk, a highly successful research-based curriculum. Students receive grounding in research methods and tools to enable them to succeed in all classes. Students participate in small group Book Clubs each Friday and read literature relevant to issues affecting teens today. · Students read, 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens and complete introspective projects for each chapter. Students participate in small group Book Clubs each Friday and read literature relevant to issues affecting teens today. · Seniors complete the Personal Finance and Independent Living Budget project and identify their post-high school goals. Writing Your Own Life, is a culminating project in which Seniors write about their life experiences in elementary and secondary school.
