Welcome to my home on the web. Thanks for stopping by.
Here's
a quick autobiography (I promise):
I was born in Shullsburg, Wisconsin, a small farming and mining town in the southwest corner of the state.
When I was five, we moved to Madison, Wisconsin. I attended Queen of Apostles High School and graduated in 1977. That same year, I married my husband, Tim Weisman. Our only child, Zach, was born in 1979. We have a standard poodle named Loki and a collie named Shiva.
I attended the University of Wisconsin at Whiterwater and was working on a B.A. in elementry education when my husband accepted a job in Fort Collins, Colorado. I transferred to the University of Northern Colorado where I graduated in May of 1989.
I began my teaching career at St. Joseph Catholic Elementry School where I taught for three years. I now teach the third grade at Bauder Elementary in Poudre School District in Fort Collins, Colorado. There are twenty-three students in my class this year.
