This week we are completing the review unit for second grade. We are continuing to explore multiplication and division, and are adding and subtracting 4-digit numbers. This includes lessons 12.2, 12.3, 12.4 and 12.5. |
| Reading |
We are reading stories about dinosaur fossils. Our story for this week is The Dinosaur Who Lived in My Backyard. We will also discuss plural nouns, antonyms, and synonyms. |
| Writing |
This week we are planning, writing a rough draft, editing, and writing a final copy of an expository paragraph about the best day in second grade. |

We continue to explore properties of solids and liquids and talk a little about gasses. |
