AP/IB Chemistry
Mr. Lenczycki
AP/IB Chemistry is a two semester, laboratory-based, college level chemistry class. The course will include standard topics found in college level chemistry, including atomic/nuclear theory, periodicity, bonding, stoichiometry, kinetics, thermodynamics, gas laws, equilibrium, and electrochemistry. The laboratory will be the vehicle through which content knowledge and problem solving will be developed. Expect laboratory work to consistently occur during the weekly 97 minute extended time period. Keep completed laboratory reports in your binder (see below) to construct a comprehensive Chemistry Laboratory Portfolio. College credit may be earned by performance on the Advanced Placement exam near the end of the spring semester.

ADDITIONAL HELP:
5th, 7th, and 8th hours are my free periods. Let me know beforehand if you wish to see me during these times, or before or after school, to ensure I am available. Please do not be afraid to seek help or ask questions in or out of class. The question you may pose may be on the mind of a dozen others, and often helps to bring all to a better understanding.
