18 April 2005 (10 bonus points
if ready and presented on 15 April 2005)
Design your own skateboard Park with at least 10 features. This should be on a 19 ½ inch by 30 inch poster board as either a drawing or a three dimensional park (if it is three dimensional, make sure the board you mount it on is sturdy enough for transporting to school). There must be at least one stairway with with width (run) and height (rise) of treads clearly labeled. The stairs need to have a handrail sturdy enough to support a skateboarder. There must be at least one circular (curved) object for skateboarders to use. Please see Chapter 7-6 problem 34 on page 407 for suggestions on how to do this. Please include the formula used to make the curved piece. There must be one non-skating feature to your park. There is a 20 point bonus for having it in on Friday, 15 April 2005. There is also a 20 point bonus for making the park three dimensional.
