My former student (1990-92), Jason, holds the Emmy Award he won for a story he shot and edited for his news station in Orlando. Jason was one of my star pupils in my middle school media program. He also assisted in my summer media classes. On the right is Dave, my long-time friend and colleague (and often mistaken as my twin), who was Jason's media teacher in high school. On the left is Tim, another long-time friend who with Dave runs Camp STN, a summer program for teachers that I guest instruct for. It was great to see Jason and to hold an Emmy in my hands. |
