you'll ever want to play in the Disneyland Marching Band?" "Maybe..." |

"Whoa, Mommy, this place is unbelievable!" "Yes it is! Honey, do you remember walking along this shoreline 18 years ago?" |

"Yes, Dear, I certainly remember you walking
along it. Ooooooo, nice legs!" "Funny, very funny." |

"Hey, I'm a Hungry Boy sitting
at the Hungry Bear Restaurant!" After lunch, we had a unique experience on Splash Mountain. Our log made it around the first bend to the very first drop and then it stopped. One after another, logs with other folks began stacking up behind us. We were all stuck! The speaker blasted every few minutes, "Please remain seated. We will have you underway, momentarily." After 30 minutes (what seemed an eternity), we turned to see workers helping folks out of their logs behind us who were lining up single file along the narrow edge. We finally climbed out and snaked our way through the inner workings of the ride to the exit. What an adventure! |

"Check out Paradise Pier!
Let's ride the roller coaster that does a loop inside
Mickey's head!" Big Bubby didn't go on the coaster as he has a fear of heights. It turned out to be a BAD experience for Mommy. First of all, they use a catapult to launch you from 0 to 55 mph in a matter of 2 seconds and then zip you around at breakneck speed including the upside down loop. Mommy usually screams all the way through the fun rides. We didn’t hear a thing, until the last couple of turns and even then it was a muffled whimper. |

Mommy told us when she got
off the ride that she would never, EVER do that ride again. She said she was so
scared out of her wits that she did the entire ride with her eyes
closed. She also did her labor breathing “hee hee
hee, hoo hoo hoo” to survive the traumatic event. Well, that explains why we hadn’t heard any
screaming! "Let's ride the Ferris wheel now, Daddy!" |

"Wow, we get a great view of the roller coaster, carousel, and arcade boardwalk from up here!" |

"Honey, do you remember watching the Electric Parade 18 years ago?" "Yes, I do Dear! How could I forget how much fun we were having!" |

"Quick, Mom, get a picture of the fireworks going off in the Paradise Pier lake behind us!" |

Disneyland, Day 2 "C'mon, Mom, let's go ride some rides!" |

"Wow, Dad, how lucky can we get being able to snag the rear
monorail cab?!" "Hey, guys, there's another monorail coming to the station behind you!" |

"Oh wow, this is so cool riding back here all by ourselves!" "Smile, and say, 'Brady Bunch'!" (inside joke) |

"Wow, the monorail just took us over the Golden Gate Bridge entrance to
California Adventure! How cool is that!" "Pretty COOL!!!" |

"Oh yeah, it's the castle!" |

"Oh, look, it's Sissy, 'The Little Mermaid'!" "He he he!" |

"Awwwww, look at the Love Birds!" |

"Not much has changed in 18 years!" "Nope, neither has Daddy's sunglasses..." |

"...or Mommy's!" "Well, on second look, they're a little different, BUT NOT MUCH!!!" |

"We just love Condor Flats where the 'Soaring Over California' ride is!" |

"We're flying on the Golden Zephyr, so hang on, Big Bubby!" "I'm doing okay, as long as I DON'T LOOK DOWN!!!" |

"There go Daddy and Sissy on the California Screamin' roller coaster...AGAIN!!!" |

Disneyland, Morning 3 (Christmas Eve) "Whoa, that's a classic Chevy, Sissy!" |

California Adventure, Day 3 (Christmas Eve) The elevator doors on the Hollywood Tower Hotel (Tower of Terror) only open long enough to have your picture taken on the top floor, JUST BEFORE it drops 11 stories like a rock! |

"Hang on Big Bubby, this elevator rises and drops violently!" "I love it, Dad! Whaaaaaahooooooo!!!" |

"My glasses keep falling down!" "Oh, yeah, I love my stomach in my throat!" |

"It's Bubby and Big Bubby competing in the Bumper Cars!" "Awwww, these pathetic cars only go about 1 mile per hour!" |

California Adventure, Day 4 (Christmas Day) "I think that's Dad waving from the end seat on the MaliBOOMer!" |

"It IS Dad!" "I hope Sissy is okay!" |

"Daddy, I thought Big Thunder Mountain in Disneyland was your favorite roller
coaster." "I love California Screamin' just as MUUUUUUCHHHH!!!" "Me, toooooooooo!!!" "Me, threeeeeeeeee!!!" The hour long Aladdin stage show we saw was spectacular, the closest we’ll ever get to seeing a Broadway show! Before we finished our day, we had finally talked Mommy and Big Bubby into doing the 'Soaring Over California' ride (seats suspended inside a surround IMAX screen) as our finale' ride. We were in the final holding section waiting to take our seats when the ride was suddenly shut down. Mommy and Big Bubby said it was someone looking over them, knowing that they shouldn't have gone on the ride. |
